Here are some common issues that we see on a regular basis that usually have a quick and easy solution or explanation:
When I Click on a Link Nothing Happens... This is a common issue for many people and usually occurs when the link attempts to open a new window. When a link opens a new window it can often be blocked by what it called a popup blocker. Popup blockers are increasingly installed as standard with modern web browsers and other web add-ons. Popup blockers can usually be temporarily disabled by holding down the Ctrl key whilst clicking on the link concerned. Stand Out Solutions dynamic, in-page windows or popups cannot be blocked by popup blockers.
When I Try and Save a Photo on the Website to My Computer I Only Get a .BMP Option... This is a known Microsoft bug, it can be fixed by clearing out the Internet Explorer cache completely and deleting any damaged ActiveX objects from the Internet Options (General tab, Settings and View Objects).
I Can‘t Login to the Stand Out Solutions Content Manager... There could be several possible reasons for this:
- The caps lock is on and the password is being entered in upper case. The password is case-sensitive.
- Session cookies are not enabled in your web browser.
- Javascript is disabled in your web browser.
- You are using a web browser that is not supported by the Content Management System*.
* The web browsers supported by the Content Management System are Internet Explorer 5.5 and above and Firefox 1.1 and above and Netscape 7 and above.
